FRAMING (UNITED STATES ONLY)

framed ketubot
how it works
Framed ketubot are shipped without kraft paper backing that normally covers the metal tabs that hold the print in place. This is so that you can remove the ketubah, sign it at your wedding, and then replace it in your frame.

after the wedding
go the extra mile
After the wedding I recommend you go to a professional frame shop to adhere the ketubah properly to the mat inside the frame and to apply a kraft paper backing. Or, you can simply tape it to the mat to be sure it doesn't move around in the frame.

FRAMING
Matting included
All framed pieces come matted in white.
Mats in other these colors, as well as black, are available for pricing upon request.

how framing changes the
dimensions
The mat and frame add to the outer dimensions of your print.
Small prints are matted 2.5".
Medium and large prints are matted 3".
Unmatted framing is available for pricing on request.

About the frame
I partner with a fine art print shop that uses solid wood frames with optical-grade clear acrylic. The matboard is a 4-ply white mat with an attractive bevel at 45 degrees. The backing (for non-ketubah prints) is kraft paper dust cover. All frames have a hanging wire attached.

Remember to factor in the size of the mat and the size of the frame if you are ordering your ketubah or print framed. This will ensure it will fit exactly how you imagined on your wall.
