Celebrate your union with this Minimalist Abstract Organic Shapes Ketubah, a perfect blend of contemporary design and deep-rooted Jewish tradition. The sleek, abstract black forms elegantly balance the sacred text, embodying harmony, partnership, and the beauty of simplicity.

Minimalist organic shapes, which often incorporate flowing curves and gentle lines, are often associated with love because they suggest natural, fluid movement and a sense of harmony and balance. In design, such shapes are frequently used to evoke feelings of intimacy, warmth, and closeness, all of which are key elements of loving relationships. Additionally, the simplicity of minimalist organic shapes can also represent the purity and clarity of love, highlighting the idea that love is a straightforward and uncluttered emotion. Overall, minimalist organic shapes are often seen as an expression of the beauty and grace of love, capturing its essence through the simplicity and elegance of their form.

The title at the top can be anything you choose or simply your names, or the word "ketubah." The Hebrew phrase shown at the example at the top, Siman Tov U’Mazal Tov (A Good Sign and Good Fortune), is a classic Jewish blessing often sung at joyous occasions, symbolizing blessings for a happy and prosperous marriage.

The ketubah serves as more than just a legal document—it is a testament to love, mutual respect, and shared values. The clean, modern aesthetic ensures this piece will complement any home decor, making it a lasting reminder of your commitment.

Ordering Process

  • First step- choose your text. Text options are here. I work with same-sex couples to adapt any of the texts except for the Orthodox text. For non-binary couples I have a specific text.
  • You may also provide your own text, however if you need it translated into Hebrew I do charge for the translation; the current price is $50 for the translation. You can add that to your basket here . Please consult with your officiant before choosing the text.
  • Second step- during checkout please provide the full names of both partners and both partners parents in English (and in Hebrew where available), and the city, date, and time of day of the ceremony. No Hebrew name or not Jewish? No problem- I work with all couples and I'm excited to help make your day as special as it can be.
  • Third step- check your text messages / email right away for any questions I might have and then frequently in the next 24 hours so you can review your draft. If you have a rabbi or cantor officiating, they will also need to approve the draft. After the draft is approved, it is shipped to you. That's it!

Production and Shipping time

  • I suggest ordering the ketubah two months before you need it, but I can do it in as little as two weeks (or even less if we use local print and pickup- contact me before purchase though).
  • All US orders have standard free shipping which will get your ketubah to you within two months of ordering it (but usually much much faster!).
  • If you order less than 30 days before you need the ketubah, you must pay the rush fee at checkout to prioritize your ketubah in my work load. The production rush fee is currently $50.
  • If you need the ketubah in less than two weeks, there is an additional fee (approximately $35 in the US) for rush shipping and / or printing at a print house near you for your local pickup.
  • Exact tax and shipping costs for international or expedited shipping and production can be seen at checkout.
  • Your ketubah is unframed and shipped to you rolled in a protective cardboard tube. Please open it immediately and check it for damage or errors and contact me immediately if there is a problem.

Returns / Reprints

Your ketubah is unique and personalized! You will get to see a draft before your item is sent to production and will be able to make as many changes as you like before it is approved.  Once you approve your draft and it is sent to production, there are no refunds but there are free reprints if there is damage to the print or if I've made an error in the text (very unusual).

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception.  In the unlikely case that your item was received damaged, defective, or the wrong item was received, contact me immediately with photos, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-refundable items
Rush fees, shipping costs, customization fees, and translation fees are not refundable unless the error was on our end.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification.

Refunds
For European customers - once I approve your refund, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
